Duration:  3 days (4 days if ICON Exam is attempted) Prerequisites:  PT Operator Certification or equivalent professional experience The ICON course is designed for current and future users of the ICON console. In addition to operation of the console, the course focuses on advanced ICON based mixing techniques using both music and post-production examples. In addition to our own material, we encourage students to bring their own projects with them in order to maximize retention. The course includes plenty of tips and tricks – even for the experienced ICON user.

Topics include: * ICON configuration and troubleshooting * Basic operation (assignments, control, center section) * Surface shortcuts and ICON only operation of Pro Tools * Group creation, control, modification, and recall * Custom Faders – Groups, Track Types, Plug-Ins, and mapping * Advanced mixing techniques using the console * Advanced automation modes and operation * Preview, Capture, and Snapshots Upon successful completion of Pro Tools 310I course, students are eligible to attempt an online exam as well as a 1.5 hour practical exam for ICON Certification. Additional Fees: included in price Exam Type: online and practical (requires extra ½ day) Expert Exam Duration: approx. 1.5 hours for practical, 1 hour for online
